Instrumentation
Region IX will have 2 Junior High Full Orchestras and 2 High School Full Orchestras. They are:
    Region IX JH Symphony Orchestra
    Region IX JH Philharmonic Orchestra
    Region IX HS Symphony Orchestra
    Region IX HS Philharmonic Orchestra

Instrumentation for Each Orchestra shall be:
High School Symphony
        1 - Piccolo (as needed)
        2 - Flutes
        2 - Oboes
        1 - English Horn (as needed)
        2 - Clarinets
        2 - Bassoons
        1 - Bass Clarinet (as needed)
        4 - Horns
        3 - Trumpets
        3 - Trombones (2 Tenor, 1 Bass)
        1 - Tuba
        5 - Percussion (more if needed for a specific work)
        12 - Violin I
        12 - Violin II
        10 - Violas
        10 - Celli
        6 -  Basses,         
         2  - Harps (Symphony Orchestras only), as determined by the panel

High School Philharmonic, Junior High Symphony & Philharmonic
        1 - Piccolo (as needed in HS Orchestras only)
        4 - Flutes
        2 - Oboes
        1 - English Horn (as needed in HS Orchestras only)
        4 - Clarinets

        1 - Bass Clarinet (in both JH Orchestras, as needed in HS Orchestras)
