Junior High Re-Chair and Rehearsal

Take Spring-Cypress Road to Kuykendahl. Turn right on Kuykendahl. Cross Louetta Road. Strack is located on the right next to Benfer.
Facilities: 4 Violin Rooms - room for 16 in each, 2 Viola Rooms, room for 12 in each, 2 cello rooms, room for 12 in each, 2 Bass rooms, room for 8 in each. Judges room, for up to 40 adults, Computer room with tables and chairs, up to 4 adults and equipment. 2 Rehearsal Rooms to hold a 64 piece string orchestra - at least 56 chairs.

6:00 PM Symphony Chair Tryouts, Philharmonic Sectionals

7:15 PM Philharmonic Chair Tryouts, Symphony Sectional
8:15 PM Break
8:30 PM Full String Rehearsals of both groups
9:30 PM Dismissal of all students
Special note: Monitors and Coaches need to notify Chair if any students are absent, so that alternates can be called
Special note: All panels will hear one cut from each of the selections programmed, one hearing for each cut.
Special note: Each school participating needs to provide at least one parent to act as a monitor in each room. Teachers will assist with tuning of students before each audition.
