High School Re-Chair and Rehearsal
Date: November 17, 2008
Site: Kleb Intemediate School, Tiffany Webb, director                                                                                                                   7425 Louetta Road - 832-249-5500
Take Spring-Cypress Road to Stuebner Airline. Turn left on Stuebner Airline then right on Louetta Road. Kleb is located on the left next to Klein High School.
Facilities: 2 Violin Rooms - room for 16 in each, 2 Violin Rooms - room for  2 Viola Rooms, room for 12 in each, 2 cello rooms, room for 12 in each, 2 Bass rooms, room for 8 in each. Judges room, for up to 40 adults, Computer room with tables and chairs, up to 4 adults and equipment. .
Staffing: 2 Violin panels, 1 Viola panel, 1 Cello panel,  1 Bass panel, 5 Monitors, 5 Section Coaches, 2 computer, 1 host=  38 staff
Schedule
6:00 PM Roll-Call, Judge's Meeting. Directors turn in all Audition Contracts
6:30 PM Symphony Chair Tryouts, Philharmonic Sectionals
7:30 PM Break
7:45 PM Philharmonic Chair Tryouts, Symphony Sectional
8:45 PM Posting of results, dismissal of students
Special note: Monitors and Coaches need to notify Chair if any students are absent, so that alternates can be called
Special note: All panels will hear one cut from each of the selections programmed, one hearing for each cut.
Special note: Coaches need to rehearse students for 1 full hour
Special note: Each school will need to provide at least one parent to act as a monitor
High School Wind & Percussion Rehearsal
Date: November 17, 2008
Site: Klein High School Band and Orchestra Rooms, David Gresens, director
Facilities: 2 rehearsal rooms, one percussion rehearsal room.
Staffing: Two rehearsal conductors, one percussion coordinator
Schedule:
6:00 PM Roll-Call . Directors turn in audition contracts for all students
Rehearsal until 8:30. Breaks at discretion of conductors
Percussionists should bring all small instruments needed for rehearsal. Large instruments will be provided.
